Summer Break -kiko158@opu

Basically, I'll be around my hometown during summer break but still I have three little things to do. First, I will read the twilight saga of four editions: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn in English. Next, I will visit the shrine deep in the mountains and find out the Buddha statue that the great grandfather owned, and his family dedicated when the World War II was over. And finally, I'll get a tan on the beach:P

Shirasu, Whitebait -kiko158@opu

Hello, I love Shirasu, whitebait, the young of the sardine. I could say I grew up with Shirasu, as catches of Shirasu in Wakayama fishing ports is the highest amount in the coutnry. We can eat Shirasu in a variety of ways: raw, steamed, dried. Specially, Shirasu dried in the sun is my favorite. Since Shirasu is being dried in the wooden sheets in the sun, the woody smelling Shirasu stimulates my appetite. Yummy!

But I know now: Koya maountainn, Taiji cho for whale fishing, and Engjyuga-hama. Enjyuga-hama is a beautiful pebble beach. The picture was taken last autum. Emerald green marges with blue in the sea:)
